MAVRADIO TAKES HOME TEN ERIC SEVARIED AWARDS
Twelve School of Communication returned from the Midwest Journalism Conference in Minneapolis, Minn, April 14-16, where MavRadio students earned a record ten MBJA Eric Sevareid Awards. Six states make up the regional conference including: Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

MavRadio is a student-run radio station that broadcasts from the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. It is located in CPACS 106 B. As the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s student-run radio station, MavRadio strives to enrich not only the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha but also the community of Omaha by engaging, informing and entertaining through means that go beyond just programming.
