MAVRADIO TAKES HOME TEN ERIC SEVARIED AWARDS

Twelve School of Communication returned from the Midwest Journalism Conference in Minneapolis, Minn, April 14-16, where MavRadio students earned a record ten MBJA Eric Sevareid Awards. Six states make up the regional conference including: Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

MavRadio is a student-run radio station that broadcasts from the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. It is located in CPACS 106 B.
